The Story of Good Wine Int’l Christian Church
On September 11, 2001, the man of God, Pastor Olise Omede received the call of God in a dream. In that dream, he was to embark on a journey, and four items were given to him; which includes a pulpit and a mirror. While the pulpit represents the ministry call, the mirror represents the Word, as interpreted by another minister of God.
However, the man of God continued as a minister with the Redeemed Christian Church of God where he was ordained, for another fifteen years before stepping into his personal Call. Thus on Sunday May 1, 2016 Good Wine International Christian Church (GWICC) was birthed, with the first service officiated by Very Rev. Charles Iduh.
Also, the name of the Church came by the leading of the Holy Spirit to the story of the marriage in Cana of Galilee, where Jesus turned water to wine. The story was about how the governor of the feast said, “…every man at the beginning doth set forth GOOD WINE; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the GOOD WINE until now” (John 2:10). Thus the name represents a new flow, a new grace and a new work in the body of Christ.
